My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little intrusive. We were assured that the boats are only allowed to go out certain times in the day and not at all at certain times of the year. The best thing was the garden and pool were amazing to relax in. The pool was really clean and we really enjoyed swimming in it as the weather is very hot in Uvita. Sara and her husband were so lovely and gave us a lift a couple of times including to the bus stop when we left with our bags which would have been a very sweaty walk! You'll sleep surrounded by the forest, which a surreal experience but with a sense of luxury as well.
