FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Great city to visit with lots of history and attractions.

Great city to visit with lots of history and attractions. Local residents are not happy with visitors / tourists. I can understand, because sometime the attractions are too crowed. Prague is a walkable city and very easy to get around using public transportation. However Uber is terrible (Asian drivers that don't speak English at all)

A clean, beautiful and historic city.

A clean, beautiful and historic city. Residents are very proud of their city. Public transportation is efficient and easy to use. Of course you must visit typical sites but don’t overlook the Prague National Museum. You will need 2-3 hours at least and don’t forget to visit their newest exhibits in adjacent building and the cupola. The cupola view offers a beautiful view of the city. Also a stop to the Prague Main Train Station check out the memorial statue of Sir Nicholas Winton.

Get out of the Old Town to get a better taste of Prague, there's so much more to see and do by just jumping on the fantastic public transport. Head out to Troja for the fantastic botanic gardens and manor house. Get amazing views at the Zizkov Tower. Try modern Czech craft beer at the Sibeeria Taproom.

It's my 3rd visit to Parague and I always loved this city.

It's my 3rd visit to Parague and I always loved this city. On bad side, through the years it became way more tourist destination it was 15 years ago. If you do not mind bad weather, try to choose less crouded season. IMO, it is not a city for museum visits (even there are some you can keep for bad weather days days). Just enjoy walking the streets and drinking coffee and beers in nice spots.

It is a beautiful place to see.

It is a beautiful place to see. I love old towns, and this one was just amazing - no damage during WW2, so perfect. A lot of historical places dated back to 13-14th century or earlier. Nice for everything - sightseeing - castles, palaces, gardens, churches; night out - plenty of cool places to eat and party all night. I liked the walking tours organized by diffrent companies. Took 2 of them. Wealth of knowedge!

We really enjoyed being in the historic square.

We really enjoyed being in the historic square. The train station was pretty convenient and it was also where we rented the car. Our only problem was finding a gas station to refill the car before we returned it! Google didn't help us at all!! We could have spent more time there actually seeing the sights/museums.

This Hotel is located in the nice and calm neighbourhood Holesovice some 4km north of the old town square. To get to the city centre you can take the tram (stop some 300m away) which will only take approx. 15mins. Our room and the Hotel in general was really clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and very delicious and very varied. Parking was also free, either in the underground car park or opposite the Hotel entrance in the street. So good value for your money.
