    This is a very nice guesthouse in a quiet residential area of Bad Doberan some haflway to Althof. We quite unexpectedly got a free upgrade and had an apartment with a large and well-equipped kitchen. Besides, we arrived early but despite this the kind landlady let us have the keys to our apartment without delay. There was everything in the apartment and the bathroom that we needed for a short stay. The wifi was also strong.

    We stopped for one night on a long car journey and it was a nice and relaxing stay. The hotel and restaurant complex is located in a quiet area up on a hill, ample parking and comfortable room with a balcony. The staff were very friendly. Enjoyed both the dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast. Nienhagen beach and a nice seaside hiking trail through a magical Gespensterwald forest were a 15 min away by car.

    Very grand place indeed and so well located with regard to the beautiful town and just a brief walk from the hotel to the Stadtmitte stop on the beautiful Mölli which was my reason for being there. I also ate in the restaurant in the evening and both that and the breakfast were very tasty indeed. Very grand place and a huge room too!

    The Ostsee pension is a treasure. In a quiet part, just outside of Bad Doberan, with the most lovely garden and wonderful room. We felt right at home, with the owner helping us with all we needed: explaining how everthing in the room worked, telling about nice places and restaurants. And he made the best breakfast we could hope for.
