    Bad Grund is in a perfect distance to the motor way and it is worth to spend the extra travel time. It is a traditional town in western Harz, where the time somehow runs slower. Everybody is really friendly and positive towards visitors. We always chat with all kind of people there.

    Erika is a very good host. She met us on arrival and showed us around the property. It is a very cosy place with nice furnishing in the living and bed rooms. The location is very beautiful and Bad Grund seems to be a very nice place. We couldn't enjoy it much as we stayed only one night and had to continue our journey.

    Super friendly host, who gave me telephone advice how best to reach the hotel - it's nice and quiet because of the location ln the Harz Forrest - Hotel interior is newly renovated to a high standard - breakfast was fantastic - I loved my stay and will be back!

    Superb hotel. I’ve staid in fancier, but the ‘apartment’ was more than adequate and the restaurant was great. More important the staff/owner were very helpful and friendly and the price very competitive. Bad Grund is also a very attractive (and small) town.
