This was an overnight stop en route to Rotterdam.
This was an overnight stop en route to Rotterdam. It was wet and cold! and we arrived in the dark, so viewing the area was not an option. Check in was at the restaurant, straightforward and welcoming. Rooms next door in the guest house. They are excellent, very comfortable spotlessly clean. Beds perfect. A very stylish apartment, but it presents a few problems!
A very stylish apartment, but it presents a few problems! The living is difficult with each of the rooms stacked on top of each other and the stairs between floors are difficult ie. narrow, twisting, slippery! The staff were very helpful with information on how to get to the town so that we could explore, also they laid on free coffee and cake for all the guests at three o'clock. the breakfast was so varied and plentiful ,a great way to start your day. It was a bit strange having to check in at Hotel Kurpark on the opposite side of the park. During our stay we never saw any other guests and at times it felt a little spooky, we choose to eat at restaurants in the town. The room and bathroom were large and clean.
