Shoutout to the team of Achat Hotel for their great service! I’ve met the most friendly receptionists here! I had a problem with the wifi on my first day there, but got a helpful advice about it from one of the receptionist who came to my room directly as soon as called. Complained about it again in the 2nd day, but then I was moved to the other room, thanks to very helpful and responsive receptionist. Additionally, thanks to the housekeeper who did the job very neatly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Truly wonderful experience! The apartment was easy to find, and the location was wonderfully peaceful. The apartment very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable – it felt like sleeping on a cloud! It was the first time I stayed in this hotel, it’s very good that I chose it, first of all it’s cleanliness and comfort, the staff is very friendly, most of all I was struck by the softness of the beds and blankets, everything looks very new and well-maintained, for this price it’s an ideal hotel, I've seen hotels that are more expensive and worse, so I highly recommend visiting this hotel! It is also comfortable to travel by bus from and to the airport, bus number 512. I wish the hotel further prosperity

Freising is a university town, and the oldest brewery of the world is there which offers visit and beer tasting. A restaurant with great atmosphere to be visited after the brewery tour. World class entertainment.

We loved this town!

We loved this town! It was a surprise visit to Freising due to cancelled connection flight, but we loved it so much we would return. It is an historic town containing the oldest running brewery in the world -- 1200 years. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to tour the brewery or the church perched high above the town. Like everything in the town, it was an easy walk from our Marriott Hotel to the train station and 1/2 hour trip to Munich. There were numerous restaurants serving local as well as international specialties. If you are there in the summer, you will be treated to beautifully crafted ice cream dishes throughout the town. Walking around the town to investigate each of the picturesque streets, including having the river Isar run though it, was our favorite passtime.

Freising is a beautiful historical town located not far from the Munich airport. It has a large pedestrian area, many shops, restaurants, and the oldest brewery in the world. An easy walk from the train/bus station. An ideal place to stay if flying into or out of the Munich airport.

Picturesque old city (Altstadt).

Picturesque old city (Altstadt). We spent the day in Munich, and we all wished we had just come to Freising and spent the time there. Shops and museum were all closed but it was very picturesque to walk through nonetheless. They are celebrating their 1300 year anniversary in 2024!!!

A lovely town with lots of independent shops, great eateries...

A lovely town with lots of independent shops, great eateries and fab transport links to Munich and other cities. Weißbräu Huber at the top of the high street always provides excellent food and service as does the Freisinger Augustiner also on the high street. You can also eat and drink at the oldest brewery in the world Bräustüberl Weihenstephan which is a lovely walk up to. If you are walking through the woods then a stop at Plantage Biergarten is worth a stop. Munich S-Bahn (S1 line) ends at Freising or you can hop on the main train line and visit lots of local cities such as Passau, Munich, Regensburg, Landshut etc. all worth a visit. Travel in late spring / Summer and enjoy the outdoor pools (FREIBAD) which are exceptional. One of my favourite cities for location, amenities.

A very walkable town just outside Munich airport.

A very walkable town just outside Munich airport. People are very friendly. Lots of shops that are well priced as this is not a overly touristy town. It does have interesting historic buildings, town square and a convenient pedestrian walk along the main district. A big mix of international food choices- from classic German to sushi, to Japanese steakhouse, Greek, Middle Eastern.

Solid hotel. Clean room/bathroom. Good Swedish-buffet-style breakfast, which had everything I would want, for example, eggs (both hard-boiled and scrambled), ham, yoghurt + cereals/muesli, fruit salad, coffee, water, fruit juice etc. Location is in a quiet area, 800 m away from the train station, from where you can take the regional train to go to the airport. Freising is a nice little town.

Very close location to Munich Airport (MUC) on the S1 or S8 rail line. Rail pass from Besucherpark to Munich Airport is about 2€-single trip, one direction. Room was impeccably clean. There is a 10-15 minute walk from from Besucherpark to the hotel. Use the elevator (at the platform and on the other side of the road) if you have heavy luggage.

Nice little Gasthaus in Freising. The room was comfortable and clean. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The next morning, we enjoyed the cafe across the street before making the short drive to Munich Airport.
