Everything!!! The staff is very polite, the place is wonderful, the room (triple room on the last floor) was quite big and beautiful, the dinner buffet was very generous and various (with all the drinks included, also beers on tap and wine on barrels) and the breakfast was absolutely at the same level! I can't wait to book another time in this amazing structure! :)

Staff helpful and friendly despite very little English spoken. Google translate is a must. One of the largest bedrooms I have ever been in with an equally impressive bathroom. Usual choice at breakfast with the evening meals extremely good. Free parking at the hotel.

Our spacious room on the 4th floor had a delightful balcony with breathtaking views over the Thüringer Wald. The sauna, hammam, and swimming pool were immaculate, with warm, inviting water that made it the perfect oasis for unwinding after our 23 km trek from Oberhof. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help at every turn. It felt like they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed! 🥰 Our dog was thrilled, too, as he was welcomed with scrumptious “Leckerlis” waiting for him in the room. 🐾 We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Kammerweg to friends who are adventurous enough to tackle the Rennsteig or simply want to experience total relaxation. The combination of quality and price is truly unbeatable! We can’t wait to return! 🌟

The reception for handing over the keys was not so easy to find, as we arrived after the official arrival time, the key was left. Unfortunately, the information about the exact holiday home was missing, so we had to enquire by phone first. The accommodation itself is equipped with all the essentials and is very cosy. Since there were 5 of us, one person slept on the sofa in the living room, which is a bit outdated. Our problem with the lack of hot water was taken care of immediately. I would especially like to mention the help of the receptionist, who took care of our concerns in a very friendly and committed way. Thank you very much!

Spacious rooms: My room was like a mini apartment, with a separate living room and bedroom. Good food: Breakfast was tasty and had a good spread of dishes. Lunch was healthy and filling. Great Value for money, with the All inclusive package it is a golden deal. Love the 80s charm, the old push button telephones. The property is well maintained.
