Greifswald is nice little student town essentially at the sea with people on bikes all around. It is a nice place to visit, has some tourist attractions and some shops. In general the prices are very affordable and there is a decent selection. This is, of course, a small student town so nothing for people that expect a lot of sightseeing or shopping. In easy walking distance of the main train station. Also the old Hanseatic town centre can be reached in 5 minutes walking time. The harbour of Greifswald is only a couple of more minutes along the old city wall. The rooms are quite spacious. People are real sweet and give you all kinds of hints for exploring the area.
