    Halle is quite an attractive city with lots of old style...

    Halle is quite an attractive city with lots of old style buildings and cobbled streets. However it lacks atmosphere and is quite a boring place. We were visiting my daughter who is currently based there working so we had a good time, but it's not a place I would go back to apart from to visit her, and I wouldn't recommend it.

    Such an interesting city!

    Such an interesting city! Two castles, an interesting bar/pub/cafe scene, you can feel the energy and buzz from the young people around the university and art school. Great public transport, a lot of history, and also a wealth of public green areas. The Saale valley is lovely for walks, canoing and boat trips and makes you forget the city with its attractions is just a few steps away.

    The apartmenthaus is located just next to the centre. We were two families, there was place only for one car at hotel parking, but we were offered another place in a parking house just few minutes by walk from the hotel. At the same price. We stayed only for one night so it was great for evening walk in the city centre with a very nice dinner. There were lots of opportunities to eat well. The hotel personal answered very quickly to our questions. The rooms were nice and clean.

    The hotel location is good and central. The room is spacious. The bathroom was clean and had shampoo attached to the wall. They have a parking garage for 7 euros a day and a great breakfast buffet!

    Perfect hotel for an overnight stay whilst travelling. Great value for money. Basic but adequate. Comfy bed, large bath and plenty of parking. No restaurant but the bar offers cheap pizzas.
