The room was large and clean, and overall was beyond expectations. The breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and kind. The hotel is about 7 tram stops away from the city center, and the ride takes about 12 minutes, and the nearest tram stop is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Philippus Inklusionshotel. Would definitely stay here next time in Leipzig.

The hotel is very welcoming in staff aspect and design aspects from the moment you walk in. Clean, modern, warm, comfortable, thinking about all details from big to small. Even a small chocolate 🎅 was waiting at the room door before check-out. Definitely a choice you can't go wrong. Location was perfect as well.

Friendly staff on arrival. Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed. Bar fridge with complimentary water. Lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. Walking distance to a shopping mall which was great. We found a super restaurant too at the mall. We would definitely book again it was fabulous.

The place is in an excellent central place - directly in the heart of Leipzig. In our nice room we had a marvellous view directly to the roofs of St.Michaelis Church. In spite of the central location, the room was really quiet. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very good at the top roof with an escellent panorama to the city.

Superb in every way. Easy quick walk across road with luggage from station. Super quiet despite so close to station and main roads. Near new facilities in great condition. Room size quite large with excellent bathroom with adequate lighting and a real hairdryer. Kettle with basic ingredients available. Comfy proper big bed not 2 singles pushed together what luxury! And a proper double size doona such a rarity in Germany. Had the best sleep. And enjoyed the very reasonably priced and friendly bar. Lovely to sit and enjoy a drink in the lounge

Where Architecture Meets Arts

Famous for its history and exceptional architecture, Leipzig is an important city of commerce and culture. Called a “Little Paris” and home to many great composers and poets, this city has something for everyone’s taste.

Its streets hide a lot of secrets so keep your eyes open for unique passages, the most famous of which, Mädlerpassage, is filled with upscale shops and bars.     A young, vibrant city with an active cultural scene as well as plenty of interesting history. Very reasonably priced for a European city stay with plenty of good value food and drinks options and free museums . If you enjoy getting away from the main tourist traps but still want plenty to see and , do Leipzig is highly recommended.

    Leipzig is a beautiful historic city with plenty of gorgeous old architecture. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the old town centre, which all seemed to be reasonably priced. And as an added bonus Leipzig is not (yet?) overrun by tourists like many other historic cities in this part of Europe.

    Leipzig is a small town, but extremely rich in history. EVERYONE was here: Leibnitz, Goethe, Max Muller, Wagner, Mendelssohn. The center is easily navigated on foot (for those without mobility issues), and there are fantastic sights to be seen and experiences to have. I'm not sure if it is tourists (I suspect it is) or locals, but there does not seem to be a culture of consideration for others on the pavements: no one seems to pay any attention or give way to others. I guess I'm too polite, as I spent half my time getting out of others' way, as they trundled along, as if no one existed in the world but them.

    the ease of getting around . the amazing market square and the town itself is an easy walk . hop on hop off bus does not cater for English speaking customers. only caters for German . the tourist info place was very helpful and gave us other options.

    I was visiting family and stayed in Plagwitz.

    I was visiting family and stayed in Plagwitz. It's a lovely area, very chilled and relaxing if you like hanging out. I wouldn't say there's loads to do in Plagwitz or even in Leipzig athough the museum is really good. The Plagwitz area is great for cyclists though.

    A historical city with a charm blended with both calmness and vitality. Not dauntingly huge nor tediously tiny. The exuberance of history and culture is fascinating. Perfect for a stay of one day or two, and I wouldn’t say no to a couple of days more.

    We've booked that flat to stay for one night on the way to Germany from Poland. It has a perfect location for this kind of trips because it's super close from the highway. Anyway if one day we come back to visit Leipzig we'll book it again. Flat was clean and for us (two and a baby) it's a big apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed and an special mention to the bed, super comfortable. Parking it's just infront of the building and free.

    My third time here, the Galerie Hotel is my favourite hotel in Leipzig. It's in the middle of a vibrant quarter, full of cheap restaurants and supermarkets, a short tram ride to the centre of town. The hotel itself is full of artworks, on your walk down to breakfast you'll definitely be distracted by the paintings. Friendly staff who know their city well. Highly recommended!
