The location is very close to the U station so is very easy to Move to Downtown and other places around the city. Allowing you to be diverse on knowing the other areas of Munich outside of downtown. The breakfast is amazing. And the staff is just very polite and nice

    Unfortunately the station is a building site, hindered some navigation of the area but not by much. Hop on hop off bus was just around the corner which was A great benefit. Getting round Munich was fairly easy. Lots of bars & restaurants to choose from.

    I liked the ease of using the S-Bahn to get to places. When it was needed, taxi or uber arrived in a timely manner. Most of the streets were very walkable as long as you abide by the pedestrian signals. Most working people spoke English, so transactions were very easy. There were many interesting places to see but my favorites were the Residenz Palace and Marienplatz area. If you are handicapped, they do not have easily navigable areas, but they do try to assist as best they can. The beer is delicious here.

    Always love visiting Munich, such a clean, bright and beautiful City. I love the experience of Oktoberfest and visiting the various bier cellars, especially the famous Hofbrauhaus. If you've never visited this City, put it on your list as a 'Must Do'

    We stayed in Munich as tourists. Lots of historical sites within close driving distance, walking or by "Gray Line Bus Tours" which is just around the corner. A lot of construction happening all throughout the city so it cannot be avoided. Tourist areas are clean and safe.

    The churches were beautiful and the architecture was stunning. The German people on the whole were very unfriendly and rude. Tips were expected despite the service being the bare minimum. Meals were expensive and lacking in variety. Compared to other European countries we were not made to feel welcome, public transport was not easy to navigate and we would be reluctant to return.

    The area near the train station was a bit seedy, so we took a taxi to our hotel. We enjoyed Marienplatz and the Glockenspiel. Dinner at the Hofbrau House was fun. There is an amber shop in Marienplatz, where my wife purchased some jewelry. We only had one night in Munich, but we enjoyed our short time there.

    Met 3 different receptionist during my stay and they were all very accommodating and friendly. Was there recently during winter and the room itself is really comfortable. The hotel is situated near the city centre about 7 mins walk and 8 mins walk to Munich HBF, in case you are backpacking or carrying a big luggage you don’t have to worry about paying Uber as you can just walk over to the station. It’s also a bonus for the Muslim travellers as you can conveniently find halal food downstairs next and opposite to the hotel.

    This hotel surprised us with its charm and great location. It is beautifully decorated, the staff were super friendly, service was excellent. Tram stops and underground station are only a few minutes walk away and walking to the city centre takes only about 15-20 minutes. There are nice cafés and restaurants near by and a beautiful little terrace in the back. Excellent breakfast! Very good value for money in Munich.
