We arrived late in the evening, the staff offered us a lovely plate of food. It looked and tasted amazing. He also provided us with a phone number for a taxi. Really appreciate the extra effort to help us on our way and the intention to provide us with extra comfort.

    To be honest, the hotel was at a T-Junction with a couple of...

    To be honest, the hotel was at a T-Junction with a couple of other buildings, well outside of Münsing in a village called St Heinrich, so we didn't actually see Münsing (Hence the Fair Rating). When we went out, we instead visited Starnberg which is beautiful, as is the scenic 30 minute drive around the lake. However the lake is a stones throw away from the hotel and even in January its stunning. Again due to the time of year, the bars/restaurant nearby on the lake were closed. However the Gasthaus next to our hotel served Traunstein Helles which is a big Yes from me :-)

    The hotel is in a tranquil location with beautiful scenery. The lake is nearby, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, and, of course, swimming. Munich is easily and quickly accessible, taking just over half an hour by car. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, allowing us to check into our rooms even though we arrived two hours before check-in. The breakfast was varied and the rooms were cleaned daily.

    Location for being close to the lake and close to where I needed to be for the time I was staying at the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean facility. My room was bright and lovely views of the garden. Breakfast was delicious! I was able to extend my stay in my room by one night which was extremely helpful.

    Not a typical hotel, but a small boutique that feels like staying with a friend. Perfect service, highly recommended. Just be aware that you will need to arrange breakfast yourself. Bakery at 10 minutes walk.

    The family that run this hotel are so friendly and helpful, the food was great. The location to Penzberg was excellent. There are no negatives at all. It was like a home from home
