Cozy. Not rustic at all, which what we kinda expected. Everything clean Everyone nice. We had an issue with a credit card and they let us use their business line for 20+ minutes. Absolutely can’t beat the location.

A wonderful, hidden gem, surrounded by forest and farm land. They're not used to having American's nor English staying, which added to the charm and tranquility. The rooms in the hunting lodge were beautiful and peaceful. The food was exceptional, we ate all all three restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, best bread ever! The Spa was probably the best spa I've ever visited. The treatments were excellent and reasonably priced. Tina is an outstanding masseuse I thought the overall price was reasonable for the services and amenities.

    It is easy to walk around the town.

    It is easy to walk around the town. There are many fountains and water-themed places where you can sit on benches and relax. The streets meander, but signage helpful in keeping you from getting lost. I liked finding parts of the old town wall and public notices on buildings with historical information. Small cafes and restaurants are in many places, but on Sundays it can be hard to find one open. I usually leave on Sundays to avoid the lack of open businesses.

    First of all the location is literally in the city centrum and it has the traditional specific of that area. We have enjoyed the stay there from the 1st moment, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room was spacious and very clean. We definitely recommend it and if we travel again to Ohringen it will be our 1st choice.

    Helpfulness of barman who let us in. Spaciousness & comfort of room & bed. We were even offered a choice of rooms. Proximity to centre of town. Fine dinner available at hotel's restaurant. Close to interesting buildings of interest to visitors.
