The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and had all the facilities including a desk, kettle, hair dryer etc. The location is great since it is right at the center and all the services and sights are within walking distance.

The location is AMAZING - like stepping back in time and still very easy connected to major attractions with acceptable travel times (even when you have younger children like we did). The gardens are impressive, the view and the pool area, the interior is very comfortable (we stayed 5 in La Girouette) and we had plenty of space - even for maybe not sunny/warm days. You see the property is kept with love and care, and Paul is a very thoughtful host. My children LOVED it: pool, gardens, boule area - everything.

Very clean room in a wonderful location. The beds were comfortable, the linens good quality. It is not a full service hotel, but rather a series of rooms attached to a lovely looking restaurant. I twas exactly what we wanted and needed while visiting friends in the village. THe staff we encountered were kind and accomodating.

    Otterberg is a quiet little town, with old buildings and painted houses, not far from Kaiserslautern which is a bigger city offering everything you need and might not find in Otterberg, just a bus ride away or a short drive. Otterberg is surrounded by hills offering many options for paths to walk on no matter the season, without getting bored and you can also find historical and cultural landmarks all over and even memories of Celtic influence, which I especially liked! The city center is very nice and neat, even if it doesn't have many restaurants, cafes or bakeries and such and only 2 main supermarkets, but if you want more, you can just go to Kaiserslautern and then come back to enjoy the scenery and tranquility. Especially at night and in the morning, the city is quiet and when you walk around, you meet many people walking their dogs saying "Hello!" and smiling even if they don't know you. I found this very nice.

    The location is quiet with nice trails around. The single room was spacious, with a desk, wardrobe, bed, and television. The hotel is clean, though the decor is dated, I enjoyed the stay. The walk into Otterberg village is a short walk, great a bite to eat, or explore the village. Food delivery options on Lieferando are great, with 31 options. The owners are kind and are on-property if you ever need anything.

    For working, the wifi in the dining area is good. I stayed in room 213 and was able to recieve OK wifi signal. The hotel is a nice walk from the center centre where you can find a few cafes and walking trails. I enjoyed the large bathtub in room 213, as well as the large wardrobe. The owners are so welcoming and kind, I will continue to only book a stay here for my visit to the area.

    The room was good and very quiet. The hotel is right on the edge of a big forest, so super convenient for walking, running, etc. Plus, it's just a short, quiet walk to the centre of Otterberg.
