It is close to Ramstein AFB.
It is close to Ramstein AFB. There is a bus that goes to the base. Another bus runs in front of the hotel that takes you to town and train station, but you could walk to the train station and town too. We love this area because it is central to traveling to other beautiful and interesting places. There are also plenty of good restaurants and nice shops. We loved our stay at Hotel Anna. We loved the area.
We loved the area. Lanstuhl Castle our favorite with trails to walk, met interesting people, great view, touring the Castle, and their restaurant was lovely, good service, and had great food. We went to the castle twice. Hot Apple studrel with vanilla ice cream 1st day and a meal for the 2nd day. Delicious. We also went to Kusel and Queidersbach.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I like the area, I've been here before and will go back.
I like the area, I've been here before and will go back. I like going to the Rhine, and sitting there looking at the ships going up and down. I'm going to be trying to go back in December so I can visit the Christmas markets, Ramstein is a good place to start trips to places like Saarbrucken and Heidelberg.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0
My only real complaint was the weather.
My only real complaint was the weather. Most of the time I was here, 3rd week of May, it was cloudy and rainier and colder than I expected.
