Everything was Super! The apartment was great, clean, and spacious, with a gorgeous view from the window and terrace! The owners were very polite and pleasant. They instantly answered any questions on WhatsApp. At check-in, we were waiting for a nice little surprise in the form of sweets for us and our dog. Convenient covered parking. We will definitely come back if we are in that region!

Ute is a lovely, kind host. She made sure we had the code to the lock box as we were arriving late but she still met us in person and welcomed us. We were also treated to delicious homemade jam, honey and bread. The flat itself is super spacious, clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Ute was also gracious enough to invite us for a drink and share more about life in the region. We highly recommend this accomodation and would love to go back!

My friend hit his head 5 times in total going to the bathroom and kitchen, 10/10 would recommend this place. The amount of space is amazing and also the quirks of the building itself is really interesting. There is a lot of information available in the building about the area and you are given a Guest card for using the public transport in the area.

The location is really nice if you travel to Black forest, make you feel closer to the nature. All staffs there are very nice and friendly. Room is super, big and clean. I have to say, it is the best hotel I have ever booked. Both my husband and son like this hotel very much. Fantastic experience！

Excellent hotel and the family that runs the hotel are superb to stay with - they really care about the customer experience. The food was excellent - quite honestly the best food we both ate during our holiday in Germany - the hotel excelled in the restaurant.

    Nice restaurant options, quaint and welcoming town. Restaurant Jose was fantastic atmosphere and cuisine (tapas). The town is steep, so be prepared with your footwear. Very walkable to trails, and a few museums in town. We visited in very cold weather but had the town to ourselves.

    We were a bit puzzled by this place.

    We were a bit puzzled by this place. The town is extremely picturesque with beautiful houses and little laneways. It seems the perfect location for cafes and little craft or artshops, but there’s nothing there of that kind and the town felt a bit lifeless to be honest.

    We had a very pleasant two days in Schiltach. Ms. Ute the landlord is a very friendly and lovely person. We love her very much. She will explain every room very patiently. And she will also be a detailed introduction to the travel route of the Black Forest for your reference. In addition, she also prepared desserts and iced coffee in the refrigerator. If we have a chance to come back, we will choose to live in her house.

    The building, situated along the river of the charming city of Schiltach, has an "old guesthouse" vibe, but is clean and cosy. The owner was very kind and helpful, even though we booked last minute and stayed only one night!
