Ultra convenient location when passing trough on a roadtrip (A1). Clean, quiet, cosy. Unbelievably good value for money. We booked same day, not knowing how far we’d be able to go in one day. We had dinner in the restaurant upon arrival - an absolutely lovely experience. Sitting outside in the beer garden, enjoying the beautifully lit park at dusk. Great food (enormous portions - the starters were meals in its own). And then there was Jake - our (British) waiter - fantastic! So attentive and energetic. He even brought us wine samples so we could choose the perfect glass with the food. And there was even a dog parking with water for our dog. The only reason why I don’t give the full 10 score is because we checked in at 20 and left again very early next morning - so we didn’t get to experience much of the hotel facilities - but the little we experienced was a clear 10’er, maybe even 11…!

    Went to visit family, but lovely town, excellent choice of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants all close by Hotel Am Muhlenteich. Friday market on in the morning in the square, great selection of fine foods, local specialities, clothing, etc. Churches close by and and great to wander through the old cobbled streets and visit the lovely old traditional bars.
