Large, clean apartment, way bigger than expected from a hotel room. The location is not very central but the walk to the old town is very scenic as it crosses the historic bridge across Danube. It has a dedicated parking garage, which is nice.

PHOTO: To the left, with the cars is the obvious right way. WE DROVE DOWN THE ONE CLOSER TO THE RED CAR!! 😂👍 ARRIVAL ADVENTURE: We abandoned our car a few alleys away because we were trapped. Somehow we managed to drive our SUV rental down a lane that was surely meant for 2 bicycles to take turns leading the way. The kind owner, who had already stayed late to check us in, said she had been trying to reach us to warn us of the Google Map vehicle mouse trap! Too distracted, we had missed them and had only booked an hour earlier. She showed us our room, grabbed the hotel keys and said, “Let’s go. I will help you’. Back down the narrow lanes, in the dark and the cold, she looked over the car. Went to front to measure by taking large steps and counting. ‘Yes’, she said ‘I think you can make it’. My husband and I looked at each other and said okay then…. Going back would be equally as difficult. And then 2 women brilliantly directed an already frazzled man to victory with a half inch to spare on both sides!! We parked our vehicle in the back hotel courtyard. It was then we realized that the PARKING REALLY WAS SO SIMPLE!!! Easy in and easy out, if you go the right way!! Ah, the adventure of it all…. What a wonderful woman the owner is. The hotel itself was everything promised and then some. Complimentary water and coffee in the room. Breakfast included until 11:30am!!! In the most beautiful area in the heart of it all. A TREASURE!

We spent 5 nights at the Walhalla Hotel Regensburg Hoeferer. The beautifully maintained building has all the amenities one can expect from a high-quality hotel. The large garden is well-kept, the interior is designed with taste, the modern furnishings and appliances are of high quality. Everything is very clean and well cared for. The family is very nice; they made us feel at home. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The location, in a suburb of Regensburg, is perfect for a longer stay to explore eastern Bavaria. In sum, everything was perfect, we would love to go back!

    The hotel is unmanned and completely self-service. But the hotel's service is very meticulous and all aspects are taken into consideration. The hotel manager was worried about my language barrier and left me a message in the language of my nationality, telling me how to get the key and how to enter the building. All facilities in the hotel are very good and the beds are very comfortable. It's clean and tidy, and the kitchenette is fully equipped with all utensils, just like home. It’s a perfect score! grateful!

    For those seeking an affordable yet comfortable stay, the Donau Hotel delivers excellent value with its clean, no-frills rooms, communal cooking spaces with ample fridges, and unbeatable convenience - just off the highway yet within walking distance to Sinzing's charming town centre and lovely bakery open on Sundays. While not a luxury property, it provides all the essential amenities in a practical, functional package. Should not miss minimum a few hours visit to Regensburg!

    Stylish comfortable apartment for two adults and three kids. Loved the view. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy check in and check out experience with lock box. The main bedroom had an AC wich was a very pleasant surprise for us. The first day we arrived apartment was not cleaned due to misunderstanding of our arrival time so we worked out an arrangement with the owner to stay the first night in a nearby hotel in exchange of refunding us the first night.
