What a gem! fit our bill precisely, easy 10 minute walk to Tamm station, then about 20 minute train ride to Stuttgart. Sure beat driving and parking in the city. Excellent breakfast and dinner in a historic setting. Best eggs of our trip! Run by very hospitable couple. We'd love to come back! Great Italian/Pizza restaurant nearby, ask Dave for directions, on the Friedrichstrasse. Stop at Edeka for coffee and cake. Ride the train to Besigheim for a quick wine town visit..

Our best stay in Germany so far! Very nice, modern hotel. Great, clean and spacious rooms. The location is beautiful close to Neckar River in a beautiful wineries area. They have their own winery and they sell wines. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately we stayed for one night only, but a longer stay is recommended.

The location can't be beat! Right across the street from the Marstall shopping center and a few minutes' walk to the Residenzschloss. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was affordable and abundant.

It's a great location, right next door to Ludwigsburg station. It is a small room, but was a good size for a solo traveler. I was also able to check by midday, as my room was already ready, which was great

The Goldener Pflug Hotel is just so very nice. It is now one of my most favorite places to stay. Everyone working at this hotel made me feel like I was with family. The restaurant is excellent. The food was of great quality. My room was very comfortable. In my judgment, the Goldener Pflug Hotel is of the finest quality!

    This is a small hotel, family-owned, with no frills, but very clean. The owner is very pleasant and very helpful, he organized our taxi to the offices, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome - he made a nice little omelet for us in the morning. Аlthough not exceptional in any way in terms of furniture or rooms, it is clean and comfortable. The fact that it is situated I nto a building from several centuries ago is a great deal by itself.

    We were greeted warmly and had great interaction with the owners. The rooms were very clean and furnished tastefully and the beds were comfortable. We were offered a buffet breakfast at a minimal expense in the morning. We enjoyed a beautiful authentic German meal in the restaurant in the alfresco courtyard of the hotel. All staff were exceptional in attending to our enjoyable stay.

    Modern apartment, a ten minute walk from Tamm S-Bahn station. Fully equipped and the hosts are friendly and welcoming! There are some small playgrounds in the area and a few shops nearby (mainly one big supermarket).
