    Small town, quite busy. Surprising few restaurants! We ate in same Ristorante Trastevere two nights. Good. Nice lake in which you can swim. Early August temperature was fine. Pleasant boat trip to, and walk through, Bad Wiessee. Hotel Caro & Selig is well located though quite expensive.

    Best gateway if you are leaving nearby munich, really beautiful and nice and definitely not spoiled with influx of tourists. Destination is well connected, one can take direct train from munich central station and reach there in about an hour.

    The Hotel is amazing. It is really comfortable and nice. We spend our wedding night in October 2019 there and we were really happy and had a great experience. Sadly, when we decided to come back this time with our 1 year daughter we had a very different (bad) experience. The Hotel is definitely not friendly for kids. After giving it a lot of thought we decided to stay one night at the hotel, mainly because of the amazing pool. Check-In is at 15:00h and Check-out at 12:00. When we got there, it turned out that kids are not allowed in the pool after 14:00h. So we couldn't use the pool the first day and the second day we only got to be in the pool just a couple of hours . - No one told us about the pool regulations although I called and said I was traveling with a kid. I just hope that they put this information more explicitly and accessible at their web page so parents know the implications of traveling with kids. Amazing Hotel but definitely not for traveling with children.

    Location was great, we arrived on a very busy day for the town and parking was limited but the hotel accommodated our car. We had a lovely room with 2 balconies and a nice view of the lake. Breakfast setup was excellent

    Beautiful new hotel with spacious rooms and balconies. A lovely rooftop terrace though its hours are a bit random. Pretty good location, about halfway between the train station and the waterfront.
