Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of...
Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of Hamburg. The weather happened to be nice during my stay, but it looks like it would still be an enjoyable destination if the weather wasn’t so sunny or warm. Local people were friendly and welcoming, and I learned interesting things about the region. There are a variety of places to eat, catering to higher end fine dining as well as more humble restaurants. I had a beautiful meal on the deck at Restaurant Rendezvous, as well as a delicious casual meal from the little takeaway huts along the marina. Cafe Ahoi coffee is a decent coffee option, and the bakery Bäckerei Seßelberg Niendorfwas also very good. Gift shop Snabbelsnuut was great with unique and affordable good quality items locally sourced with friendly helpful service, and Lambert Studio has a great selection of lovely homewares, with friendly and knowledgeable customer service.Guest review byCeciliaGermany
