    Amazing hotel with great view. Extremely dog friendly. We had three dogs with us and they loved both the hotel and the surroundings. Very friendly staff with outstanding service. Hopefully we will be back some day for a longer stay. The dogs we’re even allowed to join for breakfast 😊

    We only stopped in Waldkirch just for 1 night because we visited the Black Forest. Our short stay was fantastic and Helmut was the kindest! Since you only have one bedroom, the house is probably better for families rather than two couples for longer stays.

    The hotel was quite unusual - both good and bad. The room was spacious. The furnishings were of a high standard: bed linen; balcony chairs; bathroom cosmetics. The breakfast was good. About 15min walk to the centre of town. Nice view of Kandel.

    Very friendly owners. Good food. Somewhat dated but perfectly nice and comfortable rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Quiet, apart from the little mountain stream passing next to the hotel and the many birds.
