Traveling as a couple, we found this hotel perfect for romance. The junior suite had a terrace where we enjoyed wine under the stars. The rooftop pool was quiet and intimate, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. We loved dining outdoors in the warm evenings, especially trying Argentinian steaks. The spa treatments were the perfect addition to our trip.

For a bachelor getaway, this place couldn’t have been better. The suites gave us the right mix of comfort and privacy, while pool offered the perfect spot to hang out as a group. Nearest Bavaro beach made it easy to plan casual group activities like volleyball. With so many restaurants nearby, we never ran out of dining options.

The beachfront location was gorgeous and convenient. Our junior suite was well designed, with modern touches and a terrace for relaxing. We tried Argentinian, Italian, and local dishes, and all were excellent. The spa treatments added a sense of luxury to the trip. We highly recommend it.

I stayed here for a solo work-and-relax trip, and it couldn’t have been better. The WiFi was strong enough for video calls, and my suite’s kitchenette made it easy to cook between work sessions. After hours, I enjoyed the pool or walked along the beach. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and safe.

An unforgettable stay! We really enjoyed our vacation with Hotel Faranda Single 1! The hotel was very clean and the decoration was excellent. Wonderful location and great service! We got a warm welcome, beautiful rooms, great service, delicious food, the staff was nice and helpful we had really nice conversations and memories with Jade, Caro and Rodrigo. Nice dynamics, atmosphere, friendliness, humor, really nice to experience this with them. The hotel rooms are nicely decorated with a storage room , washer + dryer + iron, kitchen with fridge + oven + stove, a nice living room with a TV offering Google Chrome cast & a bedroom overlooking the pool. The bed was super nice to sleep on, felt like sleeping in the clouds and a nice closet with a big mirror. They have a gym, workplace and plenty of space to park. During breakfast you get a menu card, from which you can choose. We quickly noticed that everything on the menu is made with love. The 'tamarin' juice is definitely recommended. 😋😋 Alberto and Hillary made our mornings very nice. There is a big and clean pool & the hotel also provides transportation to their beach club, super nice beach with nice drinks and food. They are available 24/7 and ready to help if there’s anything. It is secured there by security guards and cameras so very safe. In 1 word EXCELLENT! I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Great Hotel! The location is good, directly at the beach. The breakfast is very good, you can even order from the menu. The Sushi from the Japanese Restaurant was delicious. We did some day tours and booked it directly at the hotel from the guide there, we can recommend him, he is offering good tours and a nice guy. Good security. Would definitely stay there again.

    Punta Cana is a lovely place.

    Punta Cana is a lovely place. It would be nice to have public transportation buses to the Blue Mall etc. Lots to see and do here. It would be really nice to be able to book tourist sight seeing flights on helicopters and small planes. We did zip lining and visited the monkeys..both good experiences our parasailing was cancelled correctly due to the tropical storm. I always try to leave small tips for workers in the resorts. They are very appreciative of the money. It makes a difference.

    This was my second time visiting Punta Cana.

    This was my second time visiting Punta Cana. Still undergoing a lot of building and construction, but it is a growing county. We stayed in Uvero Alto at the beginning of September. We did see plenty of seaweed but they do try to remove it daily. But for my liking the ocean is nice to see but due to the darker water and seaweed I didn't get in the water. Macoa beach was not impressive and they have many vendors that are extremely overpriced. Other than that you can walk along the beach, but plan to take your own food for the day or spend $25 per lb of fish or $30 per lb for lobster. Saona Island was beautiful, you see the blue Caribbean waters and white sand. This time we saw clear waters, but the first time there was a lot of seaweed.

    I imagine that the big resorts in Punta Cana are nice. The rest of the town is just a run down beach town geared for tourists. Poorly planned and even more poorly maintained. It's pretty much a smaller, dirtier version of Jacksonville, Florida.

    The hotel was very beautiful, lovely flower, I felt safe with my daughter there. There were things to do at every corner of the ground and very nice entertainment at night. Very big hotel, drink and food all day long, there were things for children to partaking in and many other things to do. I would recommend for others to visit when they get a chance.

    Beautiful place, however, a little scary at some excursions for women who are alone, with men walking up to my cousin and I to talk inappropriately. Gratefully, there were other men a part of our tour that was our "security".

    Worse than I could have imagined...

    Worse than I could have imagined... Unfortunately, the type of guests staying made the stay unbearable. These guests were using illicit substances inside the hotel, playing loud music, taking over common areas like the swim-up bar, engaging in sexual behavior in the pool seating areas and at the disco, and generally being noisy and unbearable.

    We've been in many hotels in Punta Cana in the last 3 years, this hotel has the best balance between what you pay and the quality you get. Food is good, sometimes a bit repetitive, but good. Il Tartuffo (one of their à la carte restaurant) is really good and the Ossobuco risotto a must! People who work there are so kind and do their best and beyond to please you. One little point to improve: trains that take you around the property should arrive more often at rush hours. I highly recommend Grand Bavaro Princess and this is our 2nd visit.

    Our girls’ trip to Punta Cana was unforgettable thanks to this hotel. We loved lounging by the rooftop pool during the day and heading to the beach in the afternoon. Our suites were modern and cozy, and the balconies were perfect for chatting late into the night. Breakfast was delicious every morning and gave us energy for exploring. The location made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants. It was the perfect choice for a fun getaway.
