Top quality hotel in every aspect, food, service, bathroom product, towels, bathrobe etc. 9 hotel rooms capacity in total. The service was premium, everyone was super keen to ensure we had a great stay. Food was decent for an all-inclusive, the particular standout was the Miraflores Cevicheria - food, drinks, service and vibes were all fab. We ended up eating at Miraflores multiple times during our stay! The breakfast spread was so much more than we expected, there were also staff that made custom omelettes, crepes and chilaquiles. Room service was prompt, minibar contents were included in the all-inclusive price, and if anything needed fixing in the room, someone was sent asap. The bars also did not skimp on the drinks and made them strong! The VIP bar served more premium alcohols. After walking 3km up the beach, Live Aqua definitely had the best set up and chill vibes.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel offers a beautiful pool and access to a private beach. There is also poolside service, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with an extensive selection that included everything we could possibly wish for. We personally enjoy a French-Belgian style breakfast, and all the essentials were available, along with a wide variety of hot dishes. One small suggestion to help the hotel avoid unnecessary waste: the room service was excellent, but we had no idea about the portion sizes, which turned out to be quite generous. For example, when we ordered the “chicken sandwich,” we expected a small snack, but it ended up being a full meal. Because we didn’t realize this, we ordered far too much and unfortunately couldn’t finish it. A small photo on the menu or a quick mention of portion size over the phone could help guests make more informed choices, and prevent food from going to waste. We would definitely return or stay longer next time, but on this trip we’re planning to explore more of the country by rental car.

    Higuey is a quiet and clean city.

    Higuey is a quiet and clean city. We visited a few Restaurant, ate at D'Yira the food was good and the price not bad. The City doesn't have much traffic, so it's easy to drive around. we visited a few bars and it was entertaining. Also visited the Cathedral Nuestra Senora de la Altagracia. Impressive.

    The basilica is definitely a sight to see if you're on your way to Punta Cana. It's not that far out of the way and very easy to get to. Just get off the freeway and follow the main road right into town. The architecture, inside and out, is so different from any other church you've seen. Very cool!

    We visited Boca de Yuma and had the most delicious local...

    We visited Boca de Yuma and had the most delicious local fish for lunch at La Bahia restaurant. We highly recommend it. We also visited the Basilica de Higuey and took a stroll in town. But the best part of our trip was the stay at Campito Loving. The hospitality from Nicole, Mechy and the rest of the staff was superb. The food (breakfast was included and we also enjoyed a couple of lunches and dinners) was delicious! Quite a treat. This is a place to return in future trips to Santo Domingo.
