Ayampe is a quiet and extremely safe location. It is next to the Colibri trail which is one of the best birdwatching locations in Ecuador. Great location in the middle of the beautiful tourist beach area. Ayampe is a quiet village and the streets roll up at 8 most nights. Not a very social town but it is clean and gorgeous!
