Ayampe is a quiet and extremely safe location. It is next to the Colibri trail which is one of the best birdwatching locations in Ecuador. Apartment is large with a very nice kitchen and bathroom. Wi-Fi, hot water, AC all worked well. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Reception staff was helpful and kind. Great location in the middle of the beautiful tourist beach area. Ayampe is a quiet village and the streets roll up at 8 most nights. Not a very social town but it is clean and gorgeous! The layout of the space is great; the kitchen is well-stocked and a nice bonus! Also the terrace is very peaceful. Extremely comfortable bed, hot & cold shower and tastefully decorated.
