From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with amazing staff and exceptional customer service. The check in process went very smooth, bell service was very helpful and kind, and the room was even larger than I expected. The included Breakfast was delicious and enough to feed my little traveler as well. So yummy! Our room was extremely spacious and clean. And the bathroom was beautiful and had a nice sized tub, which was perfect for the little one to relax in after a busy day in Alexandria. Not a complaint, but just keep in mind that the kids areas are only open during certain day hours, so we kept missing access to this fun amenity. Also, If requesting an Uber or driver service, they’ll need your name/room # to be able to come get you by the lobby. Overall, exceptional service, clean and beautiful room, and amazing stay! Can’t wait to return.

Lovely room, better suited for a couple than a solo traveler. I was glad to discover that the ATM in front of the building, facing the sea, actually provided me with funds; unlike the majority of ATMs I've tried to use.

Alexandria is truly a beautiful city with so much charm and history. The weather was amazing—pleasant sea breeze, clear skies, and perfect temperatures for enjoying the beach and sightseeing. I loved the stunning Mediterranean views, the fresh seafood, and the relaxing coastal atmosphere. Walking along the Corniche was unforgettable, especially during sunset. The hospitality of the people made the trip even more special. Everything felt warm and welcoming, and it’s definitely a destination I would recommend for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, culture, and great food. Can’t wait to visit again!

We are from Cape Town, South Africa, and Alexandria felt like home where people are friendly, warm and hospitable... they are also a lot more honest than what we experienced in Cairo! The beach water is amazing too

Alexandria is a city full of history and character, but it’s definitely an acquired taste—especially during the summer months from July through late September when it becomes extremely crowded. The traffic can be overwhelming and is by far the most frustrating part of the experience. That said, if you must visit, I highly recommend staying in the Montazah area. It offers a unique glimpse into Alexandria’s glorious past with its royal gardens and sea views—truly a nostalgic and serene corner of the city. For those seeking vibrant beach life and modern nightlife, the North Coast (Sahel) is a far better alternative than Alexandria during Summer season (July to September). Alexandria has its charm, but it shines brightest in the quieter, cooler winter months.

An amazing city with enormous history and significance. I wish I'd planned my trip better, but tourist information isn't hugely available. I think we saw two other Europeans there, which for me felt like a win in being somewhere not many have the bravery to try. A truly wonderful experience in a country where locals are genuinely welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

A mus visit city, I would say 5 days needed for a comprehensive first visit, walkable un most areas, I didn't find streets that you can't cross like many in Cairo, lots to see and do, the 5 days I recommend are enough to keep more for the second visit. There many great places to eat, see food and international too

I am married to a Greek Alexandrian.

I am married to a Greek Alexandrian. Visits in Alex are speaking to my heart. We are Egyptian dishes lovers so whatever I say would be not enough. Alex is my second home. Friendly people. Helpful. Food is superb. You may serve yourself with European dishes also. Gleem Bay and several other restaurants around Carrefour City Center Mall serve a lot of yummy dishes. So many places to go so many time. Historical parks . Zoo. Antoniades Gardens. The Library. Cavafys Museum. Greek Roman Museum. Catacombs. Shalalat.. Taxi is the easiest transportation and still cheap.

this is like going back in time to the luxury of the past, when Alexandria was the centre of life in the Mediterranean. Now time has passed by, but Alexandria has this intense character that has been built upon thousands of years across many cultures, so the experience is still rich today. I enjoyed the friendly, supportive and caring staff from the very moment I entered the hotel until the last greetings. I love the Egyptian way of life and their human connection. Much appreciated.

I cannot give my opinion about the facilities in the hotel because me and my husband were not allowed tô stay. In Egypt, for an egipcian to be guest in a hotel with a woman, they must be married, what we are. Eventhough we have presented the certified of our marriage, original and translated to arabic by a swored translator, it was not accepted. I am waiting for refund of the payment I made through booking. Besides not staying after a tiring day we had to drive hours back to Cairo.

It was the most luxurious hotel in Alexandria. For a decent price, but not cheap at all, because tourists pay almost half of the price more than Egiptians, which is not a nice thing about Egypt. It had nice restaurants, since you cannot eat anything on streets in Alexandria.
