Absolutely all staff were so very helpful and thoughtful. (Thank you.) Nothing seemed to phase them. Carefully designed, buildings with wonderful outlook. Do take some time to examine the fossilised corals etc in the stone from which the place is built! Meals were always freshly prepared, beautifully presented and plentiful, with the option of seconds if need be. Vegetarian food was excellent, as was, I understand from friends, Vegan, and meat. The whole site was kept meticulously clean, including the beach. There are gardens with indigenous plants, including those that attract butterflies and moths. Also a formal fresh water feature, the home of numerous dragonflies: a surprise bonus. The infinity pool is generously sized. Security appears to be excellent, as are safety features eg fire hoses, emergency exit signs, pool Life Guard. Outdoor lighting at night is adequate for safety, but angled downwards, so star gazing is possible. The House Reef is easily accessible from a pier a short walk from the Lodge. The Emperor Divers facility which abuts the Lodge gives options of Shore and Boat diving.

We experienced personalised customer service. In a place so big, the owner took the time to connect with us and being super hospitable and helpful. 5 stars customer service! The rooms are spacious and clean with kettle and fridge. The hotel is quiet and the beds are super duper comfy. The breakfast is delicious.

What a great place to stay while in Egyot. I went for a week and stayed a month because it was so peaceful. I would have stayed longer but I had other commitments. You are about 10 minutes from Marsa Alam so it's so quiet and relaxing. The lodge is by the Red Sea, has beautiful sunrises and sunsets but more importantly the staff is so great. Fady is so kind and helpful and just wants everyone to enjoy their stay. They now have a chef and he makes great Egyptian food, some of the best that I have had in Egypt. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. I know I will be going back one day ❤

This has been one of the best hotel stays I have ever had! From the moment I booked, Mohamed (the owner) called me to confirm my booking and ask about our plans here to help organising the trip. He waited for our late arrival (midnight) and took care of us in the most amazing way. Everything was provided for us - breakfast delivered in the morning, cleaning services, laundry and he even organised some aloe Vera for my awful sunburn! The hotel itself is great too, bright and spacious. The room was clean, and the bathroom was great too. We also got some flowers after the cleaning service which was a lovely touch! There is a restaurant in the hotel which sells great home made food, and the staff are really lovely and also take care of their patrons! When you're not diving or snorkeling, you can relax by the pool and listen to music, or use the gym if you've got extra energy. The other amazing thing to talk about is the diving! We didn't really know what we wanted to do or see, but that was not anything we even had to worry about as Mohamed is also a diving instructor and he organised and lead not only our dives, but also organised a last minute addition which allowed us to see the dolphins! It was an amazing experience and when we come back to Marsa Alam, we will definitely stay here and dive with Mohamed Salama again! I cannot recommend this place enough, it has been an amazing stay and I feel like a queen after stating here.

The resort is newly built so everything is neat and good. I loved the Nubian style houses with red domes inside. Food is well prepared. The staff is particularly friendly, making you feel warm like in morning sunshine. Thank you all for making this place an Eden for guests. This is a vast area that offers various venues for sports. A wooden walkway streches to the coral reef, you can do snorkeling there.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."

    my ultimate happiness.

    my ultimate happiness. I can stay there forever. all the quietness on earth is there. it is a very calm city for those who are looking for that. people are so friendly and respectful. it is the ideal place to connect with nature. Abudabbab beach is the best place there to swim, relax, and snorkeling. Porto Ghalib also is a very good place to eat clean and good food with almost daily entertainment shows and performances.

    Masa Alam is a hot, dry and dusty town on the edge of the red sea. There is nothing there for tourists. I'm sure there is a restaurant somewhere. I stayed at my hotel and ordered food to be delivered. The only reason i was there was because thats where the scuba dive boat leaves from. Since then i found out the dive boat operator will pick you up pretty much anywhere, even Hurgada. See if you can find a place in Hurgada and have the boat operator pick you up there, or take a private taxi to Masa Alam.

    While far away from Hurghada, the main airport, about 4.5 hours drive, the coast around Marsa Alam is clearly wilder here with with much more sea life than further north, so definitely worth it for a more 'water safari' experience. For transfers, I recommend 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada, a top taxi company with great prices, where you can arrange everything by WhatsApp before you travel https://www.123taxihrg.com/

    Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion. Very quiet city, and most resorts are actually away from the city so don't expect anything outside of your resort (check your distance). Most resorts provide what you'd need anyway. Perfect for people looking to relax or looking for boat trips. Tough to get to but worth the ride.

    The hotel was close to the local beach which unfortunately is not kept clean. The breakfast was always good, made you full and served by the boss. The hotel was very quiet place to stay. If there's anything you need help for the staff is there for you. There is also a scuba and bycycle rent downstairs. During my staying The boss made sure I was fine after having some kind of a stomache virus and treated me to a good brekfast.

    Amazing hotel. The view is just stunning. The rooms are super comfortable, the staff crew are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and healthy, everyday there is a different menu. I highly recommend it. The library room is wahou fabulous.

    It is a very beautiful hotel, extremely nice for a family vacation. Staff is very friendly. The food is good and varied. There were lots of nice shows in the evening. Staff found solutions for everything that needed to be addressed.
