We have just walked 43 days on the Gran Senda and I would have to rate this the best hotel we have stayed in. The check in was very good and we were given a warm welcome with lots of information about the local area. The hotel is set back just off the main square in an ideal location and we weren't disturbed by any noise at night. The room was beautifully decorated and most important for us - there was lots of hot water when using the shower. My favourite part was the amazing breakfast that also included some home cooked pastries and cake. There was also chocolates on the reception desk - lol - we ate a few. Amazing host and great place to stay.

The apartment is really cosy and one has everything to hand. We only spent one night but could easily have fitted in a whole week, we were so well looked after by our hosts. To start with, we were terribly late on our arrival but these two wonderful people were completely unperturbed and very supportive and comprehending. The apartment is very well placed, situated in the centre of the village near the Town Hall. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We look forward to going back some day soon.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. In the winter Spanish hotels can be quite cold, but this one has underfloor heating and radiators and was very warm and cozy. The gardens are beautiful with views to the lake. Nothing is too much for the staff. The spa is private and intimate and Jose the masseurse very healing. Breakfasts are super and the evening meal really delicious. Location is fabulous not far from Viñuela, Puente and Los Romanes which offer a variety of restaurants and shops. We will visit again.

Absolutely AMAZING from A to Z. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Elsy and Kevin, who provided a helpful orientation of the the property and created a welcoming tone for our stay. The apartment was immaculately clean: fresh linens, spotless bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and well-maintained common areas. Our private terrace or pool area with mountain views made mornings and evenings feel magical. A bowl of figs which we used to find almost every day was something special 🤍 definitely will be coming back 🤍🤍🤍

    A traditional white village located about an hour from...

    A traditional white village located about an hour from Malaga airport, by car. Plenty of bars and restaurants offering local fare and experience of local life. Shops are available, selling almost everything. Great for walks and amazing views of the mountains and down to the sea. Beaches about 30-40 minutes drive and many places of interest a short drive away.

    Small arabian style old white washed town with lovely narrow...

    Small arabian style old white washed town with lovely narrow streets and flowers all over the walls. Small enough to learn to know the whole city. Very clean overall. If you have the proper clothing, there is a nice route to nearby Puente Golgante el Saltillo bridge, which crosses the river Almanchares gorge. Very recommendable expansion of the trip.
