A little disappointed having spent two days in beautiful Aranjuez, Chinchón just seemed a little depressed plus we felt that its attractions could all be experienced in one full day as opposed to two. We did have a lovely meal in the balcony restaurant, beautiful setting & great food. Very touristy.
Very touristy. Great location if you need to catch a flight to Madrid. Otherwise, I would never come to this place. Also, I know Bull fighting is a "tradition", but at this point, when are people going to get that this is a CRUEL event that hurts animals. Do not support this stupidity for the sake of "tradition". The suite, an excellent bathroom, a very comfortable bedroom and separate sitting room remained cool on very hot days. Breakfast in the internal garden was a treat. Free parking available a few metres away. The apartment is located 200m from the main picturesque placa of Chinchon. A 40 minute easy drive to Madrid airport.
