Nice warm welcome when we arrived. The house has been tastefully decorated and retains many original features. The roof terrace was great for reading and relaxing in the winter sun. Watching the sunset from the roof was spectacular. The breakfast was great which set us up for the day.

Beautifuly restored house with two teraces. Clean premises,good quality linen. Super tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly owners. The apartment was newly renovated and had everything we needed. And the pool area was spectacular with amazing views. We only stayed one night because we had another booking already paid, otherwise we would have stayed more nights, for sure. A big thanks to Christianne and Wayne, the hosts, for their hospitality. Everything was wonderful! It is a perfect place to stay in Competa, its near the trails and the city. The studio has everything you need and more. The huge terrace has amazing views, and the family who runs the place, Natty and Pablo, are great people, they did everything to make my stay even better. I'll be back for sure!

    A beautiful Pueblo Blanco, with quiet, narrow streets, stunning architecture and fantastic restaurants. It's worth the extra drive up the mountain, and it's easy to get back down to the beaches when you want to.

    Lovely little town (village) some small places around ti visit as well. Bike rental shop in the centre, lots of restaurants, bars, some flat paths buts mainly up and down the hill. Safe, quiet place, great community.Good internet signal in town.

    Cómpeta is a small, beautiful and quaint little town on the Andalusia mountains, surrounded by wineries and winding roads. Cute little restaurants, bars and cafés for eating or watching the world go by. You can drive to the town square but it's easiest to walk around and explore the little alleys and shops. It has a slight hippie vibe to it with many crystal shops. Very queer friendly. We spotted raindow flags all around the city and tons of queer folk. Would recommend for anyone looking for a little escape from the city.

    A lovely little town with great small shops and two medium sized grocery stores where you can get everything you need for the stay. On Saturdays a lovely little market in the town square with local produce and textiles.

    A lovely location.

    A lovely location. Well worth visiting this incredible Spanish village. Very welcoming and friendly. Evening meal enjoyed at small restaurant in the central square enjoyed immensely. Great experience exploring and wandering the streets of the Old Town and experiencing what one imagines is the real Spanish lifestyle. Town market on Saturday. Several streets fairly steep and suggest bearing this in mind.

    We rented this property for our young adult children for a week's stay as we live in the village. It was perfect for their needs and really good value for money. They had a fantastic stay and we will definitely recommend this little house to our guests who are looking for great simple but cozy self-accommodation when visiting Competa.

    This is a hostel located right in the centre of Competa, communal kitchen all brand new, tea & coffee provided, very large communal space. Bedroom & bathroom tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rafa the host was very helpful and always contactable. We will be returning on our next visit to Competa.
