Cómpeta is a small, beautiful and quaint little town on the Andalusia mountains, surrounded by wineries and winding roads. Cute little restaurants, bars and cafés for eating or watching the world go by. You can drive to the town square but it's easiest to walk around and explore the little alleys and shops. It has a slight hippie vibe to it with many crystal shops. Very queer friendly. We spotted raindow flags all around the city and tons of queer folk. A lovely location.
A lovely location. Well worth visiting this incredible Spanish village. Very welcoming and friendly. Evening meal enjoyed at small restaurant in the central square enjoyed immensely. Great experience exploring and wandering the streets of the Old Town and experiencing what one imagines is the real Spanish lifestyle. Town market on Saturday.
