A city we have visited several times. Wonderfully historic Old Town with great architecture and sites to visit - the Mezquita being unique and incredible. The main attractions were great.
The main attractions were great. The Alcazar happened to be closed when we visited so I can't comment about that. I found the Royal Stables Horse Show was absolutely wonderful. A must for all horse lovers especially. Book early and arrive early to be seated on time. Cordoba was beautiful to walk around- night time was very beautiful over the bridge. A hidden gem of a city, you must go yourself and discover it. If you like wandering around and just getting lost it’s the place for you. A surprise around every corner, wonderful architectural and historical buildings. It had a wonderful vibe about it, great tapas bars and restaurants, we did a little research on YouTube and found some amazing places, full of wonderful Spanish people out to enjoy the day/night, embrace their culture and you will be embraced in return. We loved visiting Córdoba. What a fabulous city! It's such a great city for walking, with lots of parks, fountains, and outdoor sculpture. We were able to see everything we wanted to in two days. We bought the 10euro (for seniors) tickets to visit La Mezquita. That was perfect for us. We also walked back to the Roman Bridge at night to see that part of town illuminated.
