This place is exceptional. Once you enter the building, you are told its history and how it was transformed in the hotel. The location is in the middle of the woods, so once you wake up in the morning all you see through the window is an endless forest. The breakfast was delicious and I aslo recommned to have dinner at La Santa restaurant, the food is of highest quality and you are being served by really nice people. The guys owning this place and working there have the real passion to what they are doing. I'm already planning my next stay there. Gracias un montón

Perfect location, 2 minutes walking from la cremallera that brings you to the beautiful Vall de Nuria. Clean room, simple but very nice, bed was comfortable. There's also a very nice restaurant with local food. Recommended!

The staff was so incredibly friendly and nice, all of them. The lady from the reception area lent us an umbrella and when we forgot it at a bar, she called herself the bar to retrieve it. We needed one more night after partying and even though we called in from the room well after check-out time, she booked us in for another night no questions asked. Breakfast was nice, no set price, only what you order, and again very friendly. Also very well located, two steps from the city center. The lady from reception gave us a map where she indicated several restaurants. Comfortable room and beds.

Our car broke down and so had to be towed with all of our stuff inside, not so easy with 3 kids. But from arrival to checkout the staff helped us so much in every way possible. Amazing staff! Food in the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise too!

This is a jewell of a place! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxurious, the room and bathroom was a bit dated, as is the whole place, we don’t mind that and everything is spotlessly clean and functional. The location is perfect: on the main street but set back from the road with room for a carpark and the restaurant/bar terrace. There is very much a ski chalet feel about the front of the hotel. The large Plane trees on the roadside keep the whole place nice and cool in the summer without it feeling dark and I couldn’t ask for a better terrace to sit out drinking on a hot afternoon. Reception was super friendly and familial. The older man was very helpful with my rubbish Spanish and the younger guy was eager to practice his very passable English, all done with smiles and laughter. I wish I could tell you their names. A vast difference from our later experience in the hotel along the road!! We had a very chilled hour on the terrace with a cold beer before a cool siesta followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed here on our way to Barcelona from our home in France. Sadly it was fully booked for our return trip.
