It is the second time I go to Igualada each time it is for...
It is the second time I go to Igualada each time it is for paperwork but this town close the overhyped Barcelona definitely worth it. It is calm and relax and could be considered if you want to visit Barcelona but in the meantime want to stay away from the buzz and people that fill the streets of Barcelona. The dinner offer is short but sufficient. There are also some nice Modernista buildings heir to the time when Igalada was an industrial center specialised in leather. The leather museum worth visiting. So if you want to spent one or three days far from the buzz of Barcelona or if you are looking for a room in a quite place and for a decent price close to Barcelona I could recommend this small cityGuest review byNicolasSpain

It appears to be family-run, with no traditional hotel reception. However, our check-in was handled very satisfactorily. The hotel is newly renovated and beautifully designed both inside and out. Everything has been done with great taste and attention to quality. We had a very comfortable stay. I have stayed in many hostels or albergues as they are called in Spain when I was doing Camino de Santiago. None of them was as good as this one. Super great value for money.
