We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino.
We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino. We would have wanted to stay longer, the city had many historic places and old churches, but a many were closed (we were there on a Sunday). There was a farmer's market which had many interesting artisanal food. The cafes were bustling - we only had time for churros con chocolate (where we ordered double because it was sooo good) - but there were many food places - bakeries, pastry shops, cheese, jamon, and everything in between. Would love to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city. The city was bounded by mini forests which was a joy to traverse, with the trail dotted by chestnuts.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.Guest review byLutherUnited States

Very warm welcome and great facilities which we appreciated after a long day walking the Camino and also being a Sunday. Great kitchen and there is a 24 hour excellent shop a few minutes away. Absolutely brilliant to have breakfast included, including ubiquitous Spanish breakfast cake and even freshly squeezed orange juice. Breakfast available even for super early risers.
