The hotel is a bit off the beaten track but it is really worth the detour. We had wonderful rooms and the dinner was just great. One of the best we had in Spain. The hosts were very friendly and managed to make us feel welcome and at home. Rooms and the food were not expensive at all. This is a place where we would definitely want to go back to.

    Great base for exploring the mountains and the local history. Plenty of hiking trails for all abilities. In the evening the tourists have left for the day so you can stroll through the streets as if it was a ghost town.

    I wouldn't stay here as a holiday destination but as a stop...

    I wouldn't stay here as a holiday destination but as a stop over on the way to the ferry it was perfect. The hotel was right on the main road but the traffic was light and stopped at night and there were eagles circling the hill opposite. There was a car park nearly opposite. The main square in Ona was quite nice with an enormous monastery. Not a place you'd want to spend much time in unless it was as a base for day trips.

    For a 3*, it's a lovely Boutique hotel. The drive in from either direction is great and from where we were at the front, nice views of the mountains. It's a busy hotel with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Very relaxed attitude from the staff. Would stay again :)
