Ideal for any length of a visit. the beach is fabulous There are loads of various bars and varied restaurants which is great for visitors with different preferances. However if you want the best it can only be the American diner We enjoyed STADIUM 63 which had great acts every night and the staff are very friendly and the new owners have continued and improved its great history. The staff were lovely, hotel clean. You had to pay for the safe in your room . We were half board , breakfast ok , evening meals were cold and under cooked even though the food was on a hot plate ! Great beeches / plenty of cafes / very friendly bars. If you like a walk then this is the pace where you can take a half hour walk away from your base - take refreshments (!) - and enjoy the scenery. The hotels are very good and there are many many of them. Just relax and have a wonderful time. It really depends what you want from your vacation.
It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. Palma nova has 3 great beaches. The sand is olden and clean.
Palma nova has 3 great beaches. The sand is olden and clean. The water is crystal clear and ideal for families with smaller children as the water is shallow. Around the beaches there are a great variety of bars, restaurants,shops and small supermarkets to cater for all. The main promanards of the resort is generally flat and well carered for people with walking difficulties, the back of the resort does have some small inclines. However most main hotels and apartments are acceable. A shout out to "the Scotsman", this is a restaurant that serves great food and great service. This was located on the edge of Son Matias beach. It's possible to reach Palmanova (10 min) and Magaluf (30 min) with a nice walk to get to bars and restaurants. Supermarkets are close by. The room is big (we were two, in a room for three) and with a nice balcony, always clean and full of light. AC and TV were also there but didn't use them.
