The Donna Portals is a beautiful boutique hotel offering a peaceful and elegant escape near the coast. The design is modern and chic, with a relaxed Mediterranean vibe throughout. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony with sea views. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel very personal. I especially loved the pool area — calm, well-maintained, and perfect for a quiet afternoon in the sun. The location is great, close to the beach and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. A perfect place to unwind — I would definitely return.

Staying at Portals Hills was an amazing experience and I can’t praise enough how much I would recommend to book a stay there. Whether you are traveling with children or without Portals Hills meets all expectations. The staff especially Mariana, is so utterly kind and never fails to put a smile on your face. The rooms are clean and modern, as is the hotel itself. What we especially liked was that it didn’t give off a busy atmosphere due to being a boutique hotel. Lastly, I truly recommend the yacht experience with Portals Hills. We booked the sunset tour and it was definitely a year highlight. The views from the boat were spectacular and Juanma the Captain was also really nice. 10/10 recommend.

Breakfast was cooked in apartment easily using the great little kitchen, and eating looking out over the port to the sea was excellent. Garden area with pool was lovely enjoyed every minute sitting there with easy access to the port to walk round the boats and have dinner excellent.

    Unique in that it is more a residential area with a posh port. It sits in between your more common or garden resorts and has its own charm, centered around the harbour and port and adjoining row of shops, estate agents and bar, restaurant clubs. Bring your credit card! Portals has a little town centre too, with restaurants, a supermarket and some usual resident shops.

    Love the area especially the port and all its restaraunts. The public beach is excellent Beds are reasonable 20.50 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella Easy to get to Palma Can be a wait for taxis during high season and busy times of the day

    The village has plenty of bars and restuarants and is quite quiet in June. Its is reasonably close to Puerto Portals Marina and a pleasant walk to Son Cal and Palma Nova as there is a path the whole way.

    The marina down in Portals is beautiful and there are so many fantastic eateries to choose from. This is our second time visiting for 3 nights and we will definitely return. We stayed in the Tomir Portals Suites hotel and it's easy to walk about 10-15 mins down into the marina area. The beach is lovely too, with a nice beach bar/cafe that does food & drinks. There's a bit of work being done at the moment along the marina front, but it'll soon be finished and it'll be lovely!

    Great location to stay whether you want to stay local to...

    Great location to stay whether you want to stay local to chill or use it as a base to venture out. We rented a car for 4 days and managed to see a number of places on the island with most places only a short 20/25 minute trip away including the city of Palma if that’s your sort of thing. Area itself has a couple of very nice beaches which we went to more than we thought we would as they were so nice. We would stay again for sure and explore more of the island

    I really liked the pool area ,well laid out and it had a bar and restaurant beside it which worked really well.The rooms were very spacious and clean .The food was very good quality with plenty of choice .The staff were very friendly and helpful .Its a great location with nice beaches and walks and good choice in local restaurants and bars

    Exceptionally clean, spacious room with balcony, excellent buffet breakfast, nice outdoor pool with bar serving food and drinks all day, sufficient deck chairs, well-kept gardens. Rooms on higher floors get the most sun (on balconies). Good location, safe, within 5 mins walk of and cafes/small grocery store and just slightly further to the marina and beach with multiple restaurants and water sports. Also within 5 mins walk of bus stop to/from Palma/airport. Friendly and helpful staff.

    The reception staff were fantastic. The pool area was so enjoyable, it was spacious and although the hotel was busy it was quiet. Not once did we have to look for sun loungers. It was a lovely peaceful atmosphere. It is a short walk down to Puerto Portals. Taxis had no problem bringing us back up the hill for less than 5 euro 😄 The breakfast buffet was very good. We did not use the Spa but it did look lovely. There was a very spacious gym with all you could need there too.

    We couldn't fault the cleanliness of the hotel. Overall, the location was reasonable. After a frosty reception the staff tried their best to make our stay memorable and enjoyable - particularly the bar staff who were attentive and remembered previous orders. The bed was a decent size and comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room had all desired amenities including bottles of water which were replenished daily.
