Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

What a city!! When we were leaving, we felt like we should shift to this city! So wonderful it is. Very clean, great weather! So many monuments and places of interest. Some great places to enjoy a flamenco show! Good shopping opportunities. Plaza de Espana is amazing! So is the Alcazar palace and the Cathedral. We had a wonderful time in Seville, there is so much to see and do with some great restaurants and tapas bars. We visited Real Alcaza, Plaza de Espana, Setas de Seville and did a river cruise and walked miles around the city looking at the wonderful architecture. Make sure to book all your sightseeing ahead of time. Some of the tours are long 3 hours so you may think of doing them in separate bookings. One of rooftop bars was amazing, great atmosphere Atico bar, great for sunset, there is a minimum charge of 120 euros to reserve a seat but if you get there early enough you should secure a good spot. One of the restaurants that we booked was set in a garden which was beautiful and again the staff were so attentive Ozama, so if you are looking for a little break away from the tapas this is in a really nice setting and food was fab.Guest review byshoshannaIreland - 10.0
I love Seville.
I love Seville. Thei people, the food, the places to eat, or have a moment to stop for glass of wine with tapas or Tinto de Verano, everything was good. But we got bad experience in the Terrazas Grazalema, the cheff said get out from the table, because no time to take care the tourists..bad bad attention. Stunning city. So much to see and do. We went to the cathedral and giralda. Amazing. Unable to get alcazar as it sells out way in advance. Flamenco show in theatro Cane culla was fab. Parque Maria Luisa is a place you must visit. Nothing like it. Setas de Seville is stunning with amazing views. Also kayaking down the guadaquivir river was a fun experience. Fab restaurants. A lot to see, cathedral was amazing, Plaza de Espania worth a visit. We did a lot of walking plenty of eating places bars and cafes. Need google map to find way around. Easy to get lost in small narrow streets. Good place for day trips out.
