The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to Soller centre. Soller is a beautiful town, with lots going on in the main square. Lots of places to eat and drink, each weekend there is some form of entertainment in the square. Impossible to park in Soller and the trip to Soller beach is very expensive on the (lovely) tram, €10 each way pp, and the car parking spaces at the beach (very good beach and swimming) limited. BUT the town is delightful, very good restaurants and the area scenic. Beautiful village plentiful restaurants/bars/cafes. There are quaint shopping streets selling good quality local wares. The Church is a must to visit and the square so pretty. Wander in the back streets you won't be disappointed. Beautiful small town with some gorgeous shops and nice restaurants. We arrived by car on a Saturday market day and so could not get to our hotel due to road closures. Alot of the roads we were diverted into were tiny and not able to accomodate a large car so would not suggest arriving on Saturday unless in public transport or if you don't mind arriving after 4.30pm when the market is finished. Alot of restaurants and shops were also closed on the Sunday and we were told by the owners that this applied to Mondays as well in most cases so maybe some advance research would be advisable to maximise your stay. It’s a few minutes walk down to the centre of Soller, the bus, train or tram to get anywhere. It’s lovely and quiet at night. The gardens and pool area are stunning and the breakfast was a wonderful addition while we were travelling. The staff were delightful.
