Nice clean spacious room. The staff was very nice. Beautiful location, we loved it there. The accommodation is right in the center of the town of Arenas de Cabrales. There are a lot of restaurants around where you can have breakfast and dinner. excellent starting position for the Ruta del Cares trail and the Covadonga or Potes lakes, but also for the coast.

Perfect stay in a perfect location. Unbeatable for the price. This is a great, basic hotel if you want to go hiking in picas de europa. You have a warm shower and a comfy bed waiting for you to get back from your daily adventures, and the breakfast in the morning is simple but has everything you need. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, only 3km from Potes and walking from our door. Truly relaxing experience, Maria our fantastic host was fantastic also gave us a basket of fresh eggs and fruits from her property, really delicious. Pool area a lovely bonus after a good days walking. We had a lovely little private area to sit outside and look at the mountains.

    The location. Sotres is such a magical village to spend some time in, so beautiful and peaceful. Many amazing hikes on your door step. La Cabana was the perfect accomodation, all you could possibly want and right on the center of the village. Communications with the host were excellent and accessing the accomodation was straight forward. Gracias.

    Very good breakfast, with fruit, ham, cheese, pastries on offer Very helpful staff Great restaurant attached to the hotel, with great food - traditional dishes, but often with an interesting twist, such as their corn cakes with cheese and caramelised onions, or salad with mango. The arroz con leche was burnt on top, and made us total converts.

    After a long day of hiking, it was lovely to end up here! It's a small family owned hotel and restaurant, and they made me feel so welcome once we arrived. We loved sitting on the terrace with a well earned beer and listening to the birds chirp and admiring the view.

    The owner of the hotel is fantastic, he provided a very personalised service. Restaurant at the hotel is super delicious. The location is superb it's the highest village on the mountain and there are loads of hikes in the area. I will definitely be back..

    Nice basic hotel in the middle of a very nice village in the mountains. Room comfortable. Shower was particularly good, very powerful. Some nice food options close to the hotel.
