This was my second stay here, and once again, it was excellent. The house is spacious, with two guest rooms, and it immediately feels like a welcoming place. The hosts – she from Barcelona, he from Mexico – are incredibly relaxed and hospitable. You truly feel at home. The room is lovely, with a nice balcony where you can enjoy some quiet time. The hosts live in the rest of the house, which actually adds to the charm. The interaction is very pleasant: you can work undisturbed for hours, but also have enjoyable and interesting conversations. If I’m ever back in Barcelona, I’ll definitely check if they have a room available again!

We enjoyed everything from the reservation with property host, checkin, location, accomodation, confort, cleaness and price aligned to the category. It is a perfect place for a extended weekend or week for cava/wine and chocolate lovers. The city itself is pretty calm and quiet and if you want run away from turbulent tourist marathon from Barcelona this is a perfect place.

The beautiful decor, exemplary services, and prime location are what grabbed our attention to this hotel. We loved everything! I highly recommend Hotel Boccalino for its cozy, spotless and comfortable rooms, very friendly helpful staff, serene atmosphere and exceptional customer service nothing was too much trouble.
