This is a lovely, well cared for, traditional villa. Spotlessly clean, lovely heated pool, every amenitiy you can think of. Brynette the host lives next door, is always on hand if needed and responds instantly on contact, otherwise provides totally privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you very much!

We had a beautiful stay at Asa and Johnny’s, they have been incredibly kind hosts, giving us precious advices and helping us understanding also the kind of things we wanted to see and giving us tips for a more “authentic Lanzarote” trip. The apartment is little but cozy, everything you need is there, a small kitchen and a very useful microwave. The pool is just perfect to relax a little bit just before dinner and the surroundings of the Villa are just amazing, we enjoyed also the big terrace which is perfect if you are luckier than us and have the chance to see a sunset. Asa and Johnny have been so gentle with us from the instant we entered their home, providing us anything we needed and also some lovely chat, their hospitality is definitely the best asset of Villa Estrella Polar!

Had an amazing stay, the staff were very welcoming and even helped with some great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was also great, a lot of variety. perfect location with a nearby beach. The views from the infinity suite were amazing. will highly recommend

I liked the late check‑in and the check‑out at 12 p.m. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The view of the beautiful beach was stunning. The breakfast selection was varied.

    the village of Tahiche is very quiet and is for the locals.

    the village of Tahiche is very quiet and is for the locals. Only one bar and 2 small supermarkets/corner shops. For more interest, you would need a car. Tahiche however is a good central point to travel from for the rest of the island. You are also within walking distance of Cesar Manrique's Foundation which is highly recommended.

    Tahiche itself has useful shops, a good bakery and the Cesar Manrique Foundation. It's a very good base for exploring the whole of the island and has very nice beaches nearby, and it's easy to drive to nice restaurants in Teguise and elsewhere. It's excellent if you want to avoid tourist resorts and have a peaceful visit. If you want to walk to lots of bars and to the beach then it's not for you, but there's are good transport connections and everything is nearby by bus/ car/ bike.

    We used Tahiche as a base for exploring the island by car, for which it is perfectly placed. There's not much in Tahiche itself, but we used a local supermarket which adequately provided what we needed to self-cater (although we did stock up at a large supermarket in Acerife at the start of our holiday).
