The Parador itself is just great; renovated monastry, renovated with a good feeling integrating old and newer parts, surrounding landscape just beatutiful, divers options for hiking (those directly at the monasatry are not the best, though, and you need to dig through the various options yourself to find the most suited for you), Spa is small but nice.

Very easy check in process, with all the instructions sent ahead of time and easy to follow (videos included). The villa was exactly as described - we spent most of our timing sitting on the terrace looking at the river and saying hello to the locals who walked by. The vending machines are such a smart idea - we bought everything we needed from there. The kitchen has all the utensils you might need (including a corkscrew!). We had a perfect stay and can't recommend it strongly enough! The road to get there is a bit tricky - I am not the best driver and I could make it though (my boyfriend drove on the way out!).

Our host paid great attention to detail in furnishing this comfortable home. It had everything we needed, and a beautiful view of the hillside area. There is a nice outdoor space. We were delighted by the special touches and definitely would stay again.

    It's a very atmospheric old Pazo (manor house) with an open courtyard with fountain and an interesting layout of rooms, passageways etc. The grounds are lovely with old oaks and other trees dotted around. It's not the place for a luxury stay, but for ambience and historical interest. There are a few secrets associated with it too!
