I have stayed in the 2* Hotel Canal in Unquera for a week in early October almost every year since 2015 while attending an annual classic motorcycle rally in neighbouring Colombres. Unquera is a small town near to the coast on the border of Calabria and Asturias. It is on one of the more popular Camino routes and close to the Picos de Europa. The town has several bars, restaurants and basic shops. I would not describe Unquera as a tourist destination, but as a working town with all of the usual facilities of a small community.
