Vic is a beautiful old town and well worth exploring. Make sure you explore the old town in particular. The Plaza Major is wonderful. In our short stay we enjoyed popular central square surrounded with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops and a market on Saturday. We found the people very friendly and helpful.
