The breakfast was big and local products were used. The owner baked her own bread, which was very tasty. It doesn't feel like a hotel, it felt like visiting a friend. I liked that there are friendly cats on the premises. The owner was extremely kind and went out of her way to help me research the local Brethren church, as well as arrange meetings for me with people from the church, and her husband drove me to the neighbouring village to church when I didn't have anyone to drive me. I was very happy there, never lonely even though I travelled alone (the owner always had a kind word for me!), and am looking forward to going back and staying there again!

The house seems small, but inside is absolutely perfect, cosy and spacious - kitchen, and very nice living room in the ground floor, two bedrooms and bathroom in the first floor. Clean bedwash and all spaces. When is cold day and rain (on Faroe islands it can be every day:-)), heating is shortly in process. The house is in central position - few metres from bus station, ferry and supermarket. View to the harbor. Easy communication with helpful owner - thank you Jan and your mother.

We loved everything about our stay at Jensa's. The apartment is lovely, check in could not have been any easier, and we had everything we needed for a happy stay. We stayed for 5 days in July 2025 and travelled to 6 or 7 islands from that hub. The kitchen is well equipped, allowing us to cook dinners 3 of the 5 nights. Jensa was available when needed (she lives upstairs), but otherwise inobtrusive. It was very clean. Bed and linens were lovely. Parking was at the door. By the way, the gas stations in the Faroes have great food options to cook yourself or to have prepared for you to take away or eat at their tables when you can't find a restaurant.

I loved staying at Sigbritt's apartment! Everything felt warm, cosy, clean and comfortable...and the home-made cookies were much appreciated! Oh, and the apartment is very well decorated, the paintings are beautiful!

    Nice location in the middle of Faroe Islands.

    Nice location in the middle of Faroe Islands. One hour drive to any other location…friendly hosts, nice and well equipped apartment. If you are looking for nice and quiet place in the romantic fjord- that’s it.
