Where to begin? This place was perfect for our family of four and seeing everything this area has to offer! Starting with the kind and helpful staff who accommodate our evening arrival, to the beautiful two-floor family room with patio. The wifi is strong, parking is on site, and it's quiet and lovely! The view of Beynac castle is incredible from the property and the even have a swing set for the children. We loved relaxing by the pool every afternoon and had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas even when we had 40 degree Celsius heat. The lobby has a bar too which was nice for coffee and apero in the afternoons. Breakfast was delicious complete with boiled eggs, cured meats, delicious homemade cakes, and all kinds of breads, cereal, jams, and cheeses! Beds are very comfortable too and the space upstairs for the children was roomy and ideal. We can't wait to stay here again and it made our visit to this area just perfect!

Hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, view from your terrace of a valley, where deer could be seen every day. Very nice room, with a lot of amenities, like Nespresso coffee-machine, very clean. Very hospitable and kind owners, who did everything they could to ensure you had a pleasant stay. Food in the restaurant was delicious, besides a la carte, every morning a menu du jour was presented, in which adjustments could be made, if you did not liked certain courses.

The staff at this charming hotel were incredibly welcoming, and the location is stunning! From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in a sense of relaxation and beauty. Our room was situated not in the main building (the castle) but in a lovely annex. It was quiet at night, which is very important to me. The room was spacious and cozy, with tea, coffee, and water available for free. We dined at the restaurant inside the Domaine; the food was good, though in my humble opinion, not exceptional. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. The beautiful breakfast room, located inside the castle, offered a great variety of choices. The garden and the view are stunning, with swimming pools located in various spots. Having visited many hotels in Dordogne during my stay, Château de Monrecour was definitely my favorite. I hope to have the chance to go back soon.

A wonderful place worth recommending. Great owners. The room was well equipped, bright and clean. There was also a swimming pool at the guests' disposal. However, we cannot forget about the restaurant and its chef. The cuisine was top notch. A hotel worth returning to.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Water didn't work in the allocated room. The receptionist went to great lengths to try to resolve the problem, before it was realised that the issue was village wide and not just the room. Very good breakfast.

Great hospitality and very relaxing/calm atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, breakfast good and nice view from the pool over some sunflower fields. Also good basis to visit some of the surrounding villages like Sarlat and Domme. I would definitely recommend La Ferme Lamy!
