    We had a very nice overnight stay in Amboise , the apt was very comfortable and cosy, perfect location, secure parking and our hosts contacted us prior to our arrival to ensure we knew where to get the key. We would highly recommend it for visiting Amboise.

    Amboise is a great town to visit.

    Amboise is a great town to visit. Lots of lovely shops & restaurants in the town especially the Lebanese restaurant. The chateau d'amboise is lovely & the chateau clos de luce & gardens are fabulous. Tours is only 35 minute drive from amboise & the village of chedigny is 35 minutes away also. It's beautiful. Will definitely be back again.

    It is a place you must visit if you're in the area.

    It is a place you must visit if you're in the area. The people are very welcomeing and friendly. The town with its chateau is spectacular. Easy to visit. Restaurants were very reasonable and plenty.

    The closed street with restaurants at the foot of the castle...

    The closed street with restaurants at the foot of the castle, the river with huge wall up to the castle, the tiny staircase we found that took us to the top of the wall and then another to go back down to the city, the short walk to the castle and Clos Luce, all so beautiful.

    Ancient buildings everywhere for history-lovers, in particular the chateau, but the real attraction for us was the Leonardo da Vinci connection. The Chateau Clos de Luce was his home for several years and houses a museum dedicated to him, full of interesting personal detail - drawings, paintings and, best of all, reconstructions of his speculative machines. It makes it clear what a genius he was.

    Ever wondered why the Mona Lisa is in Le Louvre? The answer probably lies in Amboise and the Chateau where de Vince spent the last years of his life. There are two other chateau to visit including one with direct historic French royal connections.

    Location was excellent, with free parking nearby and a short walk to the apartment. The apartment is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable and within walking distance to nice restaurants, shops, and pharmacy. The owner of the apartment provided excellent directions to the site and where to park and communicated before and during the visit. So many sites to see right in Amboise, and it's a beautiful city. Don't miss Chateau du Clos Luce, Da Vinci's home during his last days; it's quite special!

    We stayed in the L’Orangerie which is perfect if travelling with three children. We had space to do our own thing but delicious breakfast provided every day to each on our terrace. The swimming pool was one of the best - deep at one end so great for teaching kids to dive and no one in it! The hotel manager was very kind and welcoming. The chateau itself was beautiful and the surrounding countryside and wildlife stunning.

    The location of this apartment is perfect. We had a view of the Loire River at the front and a view of the Chateau Royal d’Amboise at the back. The apartment is spacious and and very well maintained. Very close to restaurants, cafes and specialty shops and nice and quiet at night.

    Location. NO Long stay parking at hotel but free parlking 10 minutes walk away. Gets busy so thknk ahead to leave the car. Amboise is worth a visjt with 3 places to visit. Castle, Clos Luce and Gaillard. Good for exploring all the best of Loire chateax..
